Sovereign World Trust (SWT) is a registered UK charity (No. 327284), founded in 1986 by Jan Mungeam for the purpose of providing good quality Christian literature to those parts of the world where books are scarce or unaffordable. Its website for supporters and general information about the scope, work and recent developments of the ministry is www.sovereignworldtrust.org.uk. In 2008 Chris Moffett was appointed CEO.

The work of Sovereign World Trust is funded by donations from supporting individuals, churches and grant-making trusts. The trust employs a small core staff and is greatly assisted by a number of volunteers.

Michael Eaton is one of our most frequently requested authors and we are privileged to be working with him to make his teaching available and accessible world-wide trhough the Slices programme.

SWT buys books from a variety of Christian publishers who frequently give very generous discounts to support the work of providing books for those overseas who cannot afford to buy them. A number of authors generously give copies of their books to SWT for distribution to to nations. The Trust, itself, also publishes books under its own imprint International Biblical Teaching Books ( IBTB), produced to meet the needs of the developing nations. They are not available through retail outlets in the UK but a number (including Preaching Through The Bible) may be purchased on-line from the Trust's resources web site www.ibtr.org.uk (International Biblical Training Resources) currently under development.

Sometimes people confuse us with Sovereign World Limited, the publishers, founded and originally owned by Jan's husband Chris Mungeam. That company is completely separate and is now owned by Ellel Ministries. Its website is www.sovereignworld.com. The new owners have continued to publish books with a Word and Spirit emphasis and have developed a number of outstanding titles in their Truth and Freedom series together with a number of excellent biographies.

Sovereign World International is a not-for-profit organisation based in the United States which raises funds to sponsor the publishing and distribution of Christian literature mainly through the ministry of Sovereign World Trust. Its president is Chris Mungeam. See www.sovereignworld.org
